Now in its 4th year - the legendary Wild Wales Gravel Festival is back at a stunning new location. Join in the festive vibes for a weekend of epic gravel riding, camping, live music, fireside chats, great food and company. Soak up the amazing mountain scenes. Take it at your own pace on a choice of gravel roads and mountain trails.

We're bringing Wild Cycles' signature approach to this unique adventure in South Wales. There's a truly special weekend line-up - so expect a choice of spectacular routes to ride in a stunning landscape, open fires, delicious local food, great company, live music and a super-chilled vibe. Nestled in a valley just below Afan forest, complete with its very own waterfall, wood-fired saunas and plunge pool - basecamp is something special - a spectacular setting for a truly unforgettable and wholesome weekend adventure. Prepare to be blown away!

Rides are self-guided - briefings and GPX routes for each day are provided in advance.

All routes swept by Wild Cycles crew.

Camping on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night (bonus!) - includes pitches in a stunning mountain setting, loos, running water, hot showers.

There are spaces for a certain number of vans - please request when booking.

Access to 2 wood-fired saunas + plunge pool and waterfall.

Meals are special, delicious and enjoyed together: Saturday breakfast, dinner, Sunday breakfast.

Basecamp is nestled in the valleys surrounded by a stunning mountain n river landscape. If you need to stock up before you get to camp there is a Tesco Maesteg CF34 9DS) and Asda on the way in - about 6 miles from camp.
Look out for the signs to Willow Springs Campsite as you exit the village of Glyncorrwg. There is a short scenic, windy gravel road just before you get arrive at the camp.

There are limited charging points available on the campsite, however it's a good idea to bring your own power packs.

Bike hire
Check out our selection of Sonder Frontier and Sonder Camino Gravel bikes available for hire on the event. Please book with your ticket or enquire via email.
getting there
Basecamp is located in South Wales - easily accessible from the M4 - Bristol, London and the North. Limited parking is available at basecamp.​
By train -c. 3 hrs direct from London - Port Talbot - c. 10 miles from basecamp or Maesteg from London via Cardiff - 6 miles from camp.
We will be running a limited shuttle to/from Maesteg station on Friday 7-8pm.
